Plan ahead so you can spend less time organizing and more time enjoying the shows.
Pick up your wristband
Your wristband is your key to all venues—grab it before your first set and skip the rush.
Friday: wristband pick-up at the Legion from 7 pm until late
Saturday: wristband pick-up at the Legion from 3 pm until late
Plan your route
With multiple venues downtown, give yourself time to wander, explore, and discover your new favourite artist. Multi-venue means you can’t be everywhere at once, but you can try.
Every Cold Bones stage is all ages, and each has its own personality—loud, quiet, sweaty, family-friendly, upbeat, or experimental. Drift between them and let curiosity guide you.
Drumheller Legion Branch #22 – 295 Centre St, Drumheller, AB

Heller Good Sandwiches – 323 Centre St, Drumheller, AB
Expect it to be hot, loud, and packed both nights
Drum Distilling Co. – 180 3 Ave W, Drumheller, AB

The Knox United Church – 195 3 Ave E, Drumheller, AB
Sit back and soak it up, this where some of the festival’s heavy hitters roll through
After two packed days, ease into the final morning at the Legion with the Songwriter Sunday Pancake Breakfast—a mix of the festival’s saddest songs and raddest songwriters.
For another year CKUA and Grant Stovel will be live recording an episode of the Hidden Track podcast while a free pancake breakfast – generously donated by A&W – happens downstairs. Donations for the breakfast will be accepted and given to the Legion to help keep this vital part of the community going.
Cold Bones Fest is built to be all-ages, inclusive, and community-focused. Make the weekend yours:
Try a new genre — wander into a venue you’ve never been to
Get into small-town mode – we are friendly here! Say hi to folks and make some new friends
Get dancing – learn how to swing and honky tonk at the Legion on Saturday
Bring the family — check out children’s programming at the Legion, teach the kids how to throw up the horns, or take grandma to a hip-hop show. Everything goes here.
Wind it down — join our songwriter pancake breakfast to end the weekend right
Drumheller thrives on local makers, artists, and small businesses. When you support them—buying a gift, grabbing a drink, visiting an attraction—you help build up the community around Cold Bones Fest so we can continue to grow each year.
We love it when folks share what else they got up to over the weekend, so be sure to bring us along for the ride by tagging us @coldbonesfest
Cold Bones Fest respectfully acknowledges that we are on Treaty 7 territory, the ancestral and traditional territory of the Blackfoot Confederacy: Kainai, Piikani, and Siksika, as well as the Tsuut’ina First Nation and the Stoney Nakoda First Nation. We recognize the land as an act of reconciliation and gratitude to those on whose territory we reside.
